Manuscript Bible StudyThe Inductive Bible Study is a method created decades ago by a passionate student of Scripture named Paul Byer. Through this method, we position ourselves to understand the original context of the Scripture and attempt to put ourselves in the shoes of the original audience to best understand what the author intended to teach. It is a tool that helps us find truths about ourselves and about God so that we can apply what we learn to real life. We want Manuscript Bible Studies to teach us how to be observers of what is happening in the Scriptures and be able to translate and understand how it's relevant to our lives before we go out and actually live it out!
Here are some of the manuscript studies students have the opportunity to be a part of through their time with TCF:

We come together as a community to study the Word and hope to let the Word transform and grow us as we learn what it means to follow Jesus both during our time in college and for the rest of our lives.
Manuscript studies for freshmen kick off in January at our annual weekend Scripture dig-in conference, "January Jumpstart"! For sophomores, juniors and seniors, manuscript studies start at the beginning of Fall Semester and continue through the rest of the school year, so check out our Community Groups page to see what is offered to you! |
