Beyond a club. Beyond a fellowship. Beyond an organization. InterVarsity is an active student movement committed to knowing and experiencing God, reaching the entire campus with the love of Jesus Christ, and raising up world class leaders who will change the world. Our movement has over 200 students involved and is led by 31 student leaders committed to loving the campus radically through all they do. Our longing is to see thriving communities of faith planted in every campus sub-culture, believing that to be Christian isn’t to give up who we are but rather to step into the fullness of who God has made us to be. With that said, we hope to see every ethnicity, major, fraternity, sorority, interest group, denomination, etc. on campus become transformed by the unrelenting love of Jesus. What is Encounter? Encounter is a place for anyone to come experience God and respond to him. Encounter is our main weekly gathering where we join together as a community to connect with each other, encounter God, and celebrate Him. It’s kind of like one, big, crazy family reunion... every week! Encounter is a safe and welcoming environment where you can get away from the craziness of USC, connect with friends, or explore who God is. Whether you’ve been a Christian all your life or are just exploring this whole God thing, Encounter is a great place to get introduced to our community and see what we are about. What happened last year?
But it's not just about the numbers... Each number represents a person, a real student, who had the opportunity to experience Jesus and hear about the Gospel at Encounter. Our hope is that no one would leave Encounter the same, but rather transformed from the experience of Jesus and responding to Him and become a world changer. This year we believe at Encounter is more poised to reach more of USC than ever before! But we need your help! We want to increase the excellence of multiethnic worship, provide a space where people of different backgrounds can encounter Jesus, and increase the presence of the arts at Encounter. Imagine what would happen to the culture of USC if students had a radical encounter with Jesus and were moved to respond and follow Him through the ministry of Encounter. How the money will be used: $800 - Purchase Band Equipement (Drums, Base Amp, etc.) $300 - Welcome Event at the beginning of the year to reach 300 students $100 - Upgrade Ambiance of Encounter $100 - Hospitality and Administrative Costs through the year $100 - Purchase Art Materials to increase presence of the Arts at Encounter $100 - Thank You's and Prizes for those who Donated Pictures of Encounter

All items ordered by USC students will be delivered at Encounter. If you wish to have your items mailed, there will be a flat $5 fee for all items together regardless of what level you donated at (what a deal!). Please allow for 1 month for the delivery of your prizes after end of campaign. Campaign will need to be fully funded by the deadline or all donations will be refunded.
