Who is Jesus? What does it mean to follow him? Why should I care?

Can.This.Wait. is the perfect place for those who want to find out more about who Jesus is. For a weekend, it is a safe environment to ask the tough questions about Christianity and what it means to follow Jesus. You’ll be seeking these answers alongside others just like you who are wanting to simply check out what Christianity is all about. On top of all that, it is a fun time to get away for a weekend to Campus by the Sea on beautiful Catalina Island.

Typically, a Christian student hosts a friend that is trying to figure out faith and they go together for the weekend. Think of who you might want to go with!

Schedule:
  • Leave Friday: Leave campus around 3:30pm
  • Return Sunday: Arrive back on mainland dock around 1:30pm, or USC by 3:15pm

Cost: $165 (need-based scholarships are available)
$79 deposit must be paid via venmo (@ivtcf) or turned into an IV leader to complete registration.

We will arrive at the mainland dock on Sunday at 1:30pm and arrive back at USC around 3:15pm.
Note: There is no cell phone reception or internet connection at the camp. Coin-operated pay phones are available.
WHAT TO BRING
Sleeping bag, pillow, flashlight, toiletries (hot showers and bathroom facilities are available at camp), towel, notebook, pen, camera, and warm clothes (it can get cool at night).
