This is my seventh year on staff with InterVarsity here at USC. I grew up in Nor Cal, and though I was involved in church, I hid areas of my life from people and from God. It wasn't until I began taking Jesus seriously in college that I realized I was being invited into something way bigger and better than I ever had known. He's been wooing me more and more ever since.

I live with my wife Larissa and newborn son Aaron a block away from campus. There's nothing I like more than a good, deep conversation (particularly over a quality cup of coffee), connecting with people, and hearing their stories.

That said, I'm also a sucker for most kinds of games (mafia, anyone?), I'm addicted to Lost, and I really enjoy training for and running marathons. Oh, and when my son looks at me and cracks a smile... that's just about the best thing ever.

I came to USC as a student calling myself a Christian, only to realize that I wasn't really paying attention to God at all. During my time in college and the years since, I have been continually learning what it means to follow Jesus in all areas of my life.

Having known life with Jesus and without Him, I am compelled to bring Jesus to the students on campus. My prayer is that students would respond to God’s call on their lives, letting go of even the good things in this world to take hold of the best that God has in store for them.

I'm married to my beautiful wife Christie. In my free time, I like listening to all kinds of music and cooking/eating delicious food. I also love a good game of Ultimate Frisbee, even on slippery-cement-of-death McCarthy Quad. :) Most of all, I love just hanging out with friends and laughing until my sides hurt.
