Every year before Fall Semester begins, Trojan Christian Fellowship gets together for a conference to reconnect with each other, find out what's happening in TCF, and get trained in how to reach our campus.
Date and Time:
Thursday, August 11, 4:45pm (Arrive at USC) - Monday, August 15, 10:00pm.
Monday is open for anyone to attend (even if they aren't on the leadership team). Although the conference ends on Monday night, you can sleep at the church for an optional breakfast on Tuesday morning.
Please check with your Area Leader to see if they have anything planned for your area on Tuesday during the day. Otherwise, you can use this time to rest, recharge and move into your housing.
Century Parking Lot: Thursday, August 11th, 4:45pm. We will be leaving at 5:00pm SHARP. So don't be late.

Building Community / Technology Fast:
5 days is a relatively short time. However, in God's hands, the time is precious and full of potential transformation. Talking on cell phones, updating facebook, or playing video games can easily whittle away the time bit by bit. We are asking you to abstain from these everyday activities to focus and be present to God and to others this retreat. Our hope is that we can build deeper community by abstaining from these things during the 5 days.
As a result, we will be placing all cell phones, laptops, iPods, iPod touches in a security box before the start of the retreat. Don't have any other means to keep time? We ask that you bring a watch and alarm clock if you need it. Many of us find the thought of not using our cell phones, iPods, e-mail, or Facebook distasteful, inconvenient, and possibly even ridiculous. If you feel like this no-tech-thing will be challenging, then no worries—you are in good company. If you don't want leaders retreat to be a sudden shock to your system and your parents when you part away from technology, we recommend a couple of key steps that can be found at the end of this email. Staff will have cellphones and laptops for safety reasons, but will not use them for social purposes.
What to Bring:
Finally, do be praying for our time this weekend, both for yourself and for us as a team. We want to be able to receive deeply from God as well as hear what he will be speaking to us and where he will be leading us. If you need prayer in the days leading up to the retreat, definitely initiate with someone and get that.
Pictures from Previous Years!
I need to move in. Where can I put all my stuff?
We'll be really close by campus, so it will be easy to store your stuff. Most students store their things at someone's apartment nearby. If you need a place to store your things, let us know in the registration link and we'd be happy to arrange it for you!
I'm coming in the night before, is there a place I can stay?
Yes! We have apartments of students nearby where you can stay! If you need a place to store your things, let us know in the registration link and we'd be happy to arrange it for you!
I'll be living in USC housing. Can I move in early?
Yes, you can! However, USC does charge you for the extra night. You will also need a letter from us letting USC know. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get a letter.
